Pine Sawfly Larvae
Pine Sawfly larvae are only about 1/4 inch long at this stage, however they are not that hard to find, since they congregate together on the end of pine branches. They grow quickly as they feed and are defoliators. If you have pines, they should be monitored each spring late April and early May for these pests.
