Oak Gall

Gall formations can be found on a number of different trees and shrubs, however oak trees tend to be the most common host. Gall formations are most often caused by a parasitic infection. These abnormal formations may develop on leaves, twigs, or bark. Tree health is not affected by most gall activity and applications are not recommended.
